Our fees are in line with the recommended fee schedule set out by the Psychologists' Association of Alberta. Most extended health plans will cover a portion or total cost of psychological services up to a maximum annual amount.
Insurance companies offering direct billing to psychologists now include Alberta Blue Cross (including ASEPB), Medavie, Desjardins, Great West Life, and Greenshield for some plans. Additionally, some Employee Assistance Plans, RCMP, Veterans Affairs Canada, and clients of Child and Family Services (Chimo) may apply for direct billing.
